The Inaugural TPRM Community Meeting: Uniting Voices Across Professions and Borders
As the clock struck 11:00 AM IST on November 18, 2023, the virtual realm buzzed with anticipation and excitement as the inaugural meeting of the “TPRM with Yedhu” WhatsApp group commenced. Twelve passionate Third-Party and Cyber Risk Management professionals, representing diverse regions from Riyadh, Kuwait, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad, and Noida, gathered in the digital space for an enlightening 70-minute discussion.
The airwaves resonated with stories and experiences as each professional shared their unique journey into the world of tprm . From the bustling financial hubs to the serene landscapes of southern India, their backgrounds varied, but a common thread of enthusiasm for TPRM united them.
The discussion kicked off with heartfelt narratives about their individual experiences in navigating the complexities of TPRM. The diverse professional backgrounds, spanning BFSI, FMCG, Retail, Pharma, Project Management, Consulting (BIG4s), Food Processing, and HR Risk Management, lent depth to the conversation, offering a holistic perspective on TPRM’s significance across industries.
Throughout the meeting, concerns surfaced and were dissected with a keen eye for resolution. Accountability, Tone-at-the-top, Awareness, Independency, and Threat and Issue Management emerged as pivotal challenges faced by TPRM professionals, prompting spirited discussions on mitigating strategies.
One standout moment came when the seasoned TPRM expert, Ankush Rajpoot, took the floor. With a wealth of experience, he shed light on the evolving landscape, offering insightful perspectives on “TPRM in 2024.” His visionary outlook and strategic foresight captivated the attendees, igniting hope and inspiration for the future of TPRM especially in 2024-25.
The meeting concluded on a high note, with a promise to reconvene on December 9, 2023, armed with a fresh agenda and renewed enthusiasm. The “TPRM with Yedhu” WhatsApp group had set the stage for a burgeoning community dedicated to fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and professional growth in the world of Third Party and Cyber Risk Management.
